CONFERENCE ON COMMUNITY WRITING

Weaving Narratives for Social Justice Action
in the Local, National, Global
October 21-23, 2021
Online

The Conference on Community Writing is a three-day biennial conference of the Coalition for Community Writing. The conference brings together teachers, scholars, community leaders, artists, activists, and students to learn together how writing can inform, empower, and transform communities. The CCW focuses on writing as a framework to co-creatively explore moments of social change.

The George Washington University is the proud host of the 2021 Conference, which will be held virtually.

To become a sponsor, please contact CCW 2021 Host Committee Chair, Phyllis Ryder, for details: pryder@gwu.edu.

YOUR SPONSORSHIP WILL HELP MAKE THESE CONVERSATIONS POSSIBLE.

We invite people and institutions who value community-based writing and community-engaged teaching to sponsor or co-host the Conference.
